Why I use PIC

I am currently working on a Home Automation Terminal. Right now it is just a dumb rs-232 terminal with 15 buttons and a 2x16 LCD display. Go here to see pictures of the current prototype and description. NEW Code is now available! NEW Schematic is now available!!
